1) Does it cost me anything to sign up as a candidate?
No. We're here to help you find a green career. The more people we can place in green jobs, the better for us, and the better for you. If you don't sign up, you might not find out about the latest jobs. You will also not get access to our Greenhouse, which is full of tips for finding a green job.

2) Where does your fee come from? Will it come out of my salary?
No. Our fee is paid by our clients and it never affects your salary.

3) What happens to my resume once it's in your database?
You're welcome to apply for new jobs as they become available, and you can continue to update your account on our site if you move or take a new position. When we have new positions, we look through our database to see if we can find suitable people, and may contact you to see if you're interested in the opportunity. Sometimes clients will ask to see resumes before they officially start working with us; in that case, we will ask your permission to send your resume, and then strip all the personal details so that you remain anonymous unless they want to interview you. We will never circulate your resume without your permission. Please note that we're only human and cannot respond to each and ever one of you or always give individual advice, much as we would love to.

4) Can I still pursue jobs outside of your process?
Yes. However, note that duplicate resumes (submitted by us and directly to the company by you) will make you seem more desperate and less professional. If you think there's any overlap in your job search, please let us know.

5) What's the deal with your "Branch Out" program?
While we know lots of green folks, we don't know everyone. Our Branch Out program gives you incentive to help us find the perfect person for a job. If you see a job description that sounds like it's an exact match for someone you know, send their contact information to mailto:branchout@brightgreentalent.com. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it, or encourage them to sign up and mention your name when they do. If they're not already in our candidate community and we place them in a position, you'll earn $750!

6) Do you place interns?
Right now, we don't officially place interns with our clients. However, we may make an opportune introduction where appropriate.

7) Is Bright Green Talent hiring for its own team?
While we're not always growing out the team, please let us know if you're interested in joining us. We will also post our positions on our job board.
