Senior Urban/Land Use Planner at Global Design and Business Consulting Firm (San Francisco, Immediate Start)

Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be an experienced planner with strong leadership skills and proven success in the following areas:
• Demonstrated ability to grow and lead a planning team focused on urban planning, master planning, land use planning, and urban design;
• Strong sustainability focus with a clear understanding of links between master and site planning, transportation, and infrastructure planning;
• Solid grasp of master plan/site plan implementation requirements, including demonstrated knowledge of applicable code sections;
• Deep understanding of climate change and other sustainability issues as they relate to land use planning and master planning;
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and a portfolio of project work, prepare written reports, make public presentations, and to undertake agency liaison.
• Experience strategizing and preparing winning proposals, as well as directing resulting projects;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
