Coordinator- Labour Standards Multi-stakeholder Forum: £25-28k

Bright individual with 2-3 years’ client-facing sustainability experience.

This leading think-tank promotes cross-sectoral corporate transparency and accountability. Working internationally, with a wealth of high profile partners, the coordinator will act as a focal point for an industry specific labour standards forum. The forum’s agenda is based around mitigating the negative impacts resulting from reformed trade agreements in a new regulatory environment.

You will be working in an office with a focused environment, and individuals who are creating thought-leadership in corporate accountability and sustainability.

The job…
•    Acting as one of 3 secretariats for the forum you will be the centre point for coordination for the multi-stakeholder members.
•    You will use your political and commercial sensitivity to coordinate all of the different stakeholders involved in this initiative. You will professionally facilitate and manage the Executive Committee, working groups and general administration of the Forum.
•    Responsible for disseminating internal and external communications for the group, you will represent the Forum at policy workshops, conferences and events. You will manage website development, newsletters, updates and other communication mechanisms to ensure success of the Forum.
•    Undertaking some administration tasks and processes as appropriate and taking minutes.
•    Mobilising the interest of potential new participants in the Forum, especially within Multinational Corporations.
•    Tracking and documenting lessons learned from the initiative.
•    Budget/Project management.

 You…
•    Are an intelligent and confident graduate, with 2-3 years’ experience in a client-facing role
•    You have a good basic understanding of human rights and labour standards or have experience working in CSR/ sustainability.
•    Have experience of running events or workshops.
•    Have experience dealing with teams or individuals at different levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
•    Are an autonomous worker, capable of working with remote teams and driving your own performance.
