Senior Test Engineer Opportunity at Growing, Early-Stage Solar Firm (Peninsula, Immediate Start)--ID#10262

Background:
Founded in 2007 by several industry leaders, the firm is based in the Peninsula and has already secured more than US$10 million in Series A funding and is positioned to establish itself as a pioneer in low cost, high efficiency solar modules. The firm is still relatively small, and the team of highly-skilled professionals is transitioning from start-up mode into full fledged operations with a specific focus on high concentration modules.

Roles and Responsibilities:  
•    Create test methodology for product development
•    Develop standard test protocols for the company's products along entire manufacturing process
•    Specify laboratory and production equipment, facilities and procedures
•    Participate in the development of commercial specifications
•    Participate in the development of product datasheets  

 
Skills and Qualifications:
This person will have experience with test and measurement of photovoltaic devices as well as the following skills:  
•    Programming in Labview, VB, and C
•    Ability to write code to enable communication between different instruments connected via GPIB
•    Ability to implement analog test instrumentation and accurately interpret test results
•    Ability to use high-level statistical process monitoring and control software (e.g., Minitab, SAS Jump, etc)
